The stainless steel ring is fastened with headless screws, allowing it to rotate with the shaft while the graphite segment remains fixed. Our shaft seals are easily mounted onto sterntubes, utilizing a rubber sleeve secured with clamps. Standard rubber sleeve size for sterntubes is 113 mm, but with reducers, compatibility extends to sterntubes of 80 mm, as well as 3"1/4 and 4" sizes.
