Tor Marine Propeller Shaft Seal for 55mm Shafts

Designed for effortless installation and maintenance, this innovative mechanical seal features a seamless connection between the stainless steel ring and the graphite component. The stainless steel ring attaches securely with headless screws on the shaft, allowing it to rotate freely, while the stationary graphite component remains fixed.

For installation, the seal can be directly mounted onto a sterntube, coupled with a rubber sleeve that is firmly secured using clamps. The standard size for the rubber sleeve is 87mm; however, with suitable reducers, it can accommodate sterntubes of 70mm, 2½” or 3”. Enhance your setup further with an optional wall-mounted bronze shaft seal adapter, designed to include a water-lubricated bearing (see codes 49006354900680).
