The Vulcan® anchor is meticulously crafted to suit a diverse range of boat bow configurations. It ensures a secure fit for vessels from small runabouts to larger yachts and powerboats, even those outfitted with platforms and bowsprits.

This anchor showcases a distinctive shank and fluke design paired with an innovative roll-palm™ to facilitate self-righting on the ocean floor. The V-bulb™ effectively enhances fluke ballast downward, optimising leverage and efficiency. With an expanded fluke surface area and a superior weight-on-tip compared to other anchors, the Vulcan delivers outstanding holding power and reliability. Its roll-bar-free construction, combined with a thoughtfully designed shank profile, guarantees compatibility with bow rollers. This anchor promises straightforward self-deployment from most bow rollers, offering convenience for all users. Made from high-tensile steel, it features a unique I+V profile™ shank design that significantly boosts resistance to bending.

Originally developed from the Rocna anchor by Peter Smith, the Vulcan's absence of a roll bar enhances storage capability at the stemhead, and its galvanized finish ensures long-lasting durability. Key Features of the Vulcan Anchor:

• The Vulcan's innovative shank and fluke geometry includes an advanced roll-palm™ (A) at the fluke's rear, enhancing self-righting ability. The V-bulb™ (B) extends the fluke ballast downwards for optimal leverage and efficiency.
• A concave fluke (C), similar to that of the Rocna, enhances holding power and security.
• The shank's roll-bar-free design, coupled with a precisely engineered profile (D), ensures a snug fit across various vessels, smoothly navigating platforms, bowsprits, prods, stays, and other protrusions.
• The special shank shape (D) supports self-launching and smooth self-stowing during retrieval on most bow rollers, ensuring seamless operation for all boaters.
• Constructed from high-tensile steel, the shank's strength is further boosted by a unique I+V profile™ design (E), improving resistance to bending through computer-optimised I-beam geometry. This elegant design also enhances setting performance, with the lower V edge (F) optimally cutting into the seabed for secure burial.
